All k2tog now!

Can you say "Casey absolutely loves cables" ?

SO easy, well, at least so far. I must thank the almighty Dawn for finally showing me the way to greatness.

There'll be rainbows...

It's absolutely pouring out right now. I'm half expecting an ark to float by soon. I wonder if Y Knot Knit has bags that close all the way? I'm guessing wool doesn't react well to this much moisture. Eh, I'll just shove it in my jacket.

I'm surprised I've made it this far today. My dad took Greg and I to see Jethro Tull at the Keswick last night, and when I got there I was tired to begin with, but I just haven't been able to shake off this feeling of absolute exhaustion.

As I attempt to say this with a straight face... I've never had a problem hoarding things, but I just can't stop beefing up my stash right now. I told myself I'd only take on one project at a time this season, but still I feel like I'm cheating on my current project with every new sexy pattern I see. I swear, I'm only going to make myself one scarf this year...

Why can't everyone just ask for a scarf?

As I sit here eatting my chicken & brocolli with rice, I can't get the thought of this godamn shawl/wrap thing out of my head. I've already had to deal with looking for the recommended yarn, finding something slightly like it, but way too expensive and then settling on another yarn, ended up not showing off the pattern. I moved onto Yarn #2 and #3 and still no luck. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or if it's the yarn I'm using, but it just doesn't look like it at all. I'd rather not have to deal with going through 108 stitches just for it to not show up again. Should I suck it up order the right yarn or make up my own pattern for the yarn I have already?
